Helma 1.6 status update

As some will have noticed, the release date for Helma 1.6.0 has drifted quite a bit over the last weeks and months. While most of this was due to fixing bugs in Rhino (see Rhino Bugs & Patches for changes in Helma's version of Rhino), the last week has seen a surge of skin and macro related enhancements.

The rationale behind these new features is to reduce the need to write macros specialized for a purpose, and in the last case to reduce the need for careful macro handler setup.

What else can you expect from Helma 1.6? One other prominent change is the update to Rhino 1.6, featuring E4X support, partial support for JavaScript getters and setters, and many bug fixes.
